[there's a Request for Proposal headed this way soon and I smell mothballs, so I drafted this preliminary response]
I am part of a collaborative called The Case Writers.
We advocate for "donor-centered" cases, rather than "organization-centered" cases. Donor-centered cases make the donor the hero, not the organization.
Why bother changing?
Because donor-centered cases tend to make goal faster: that's the only reason.
As a group, The Case Writers have deep experience with hospitals and other institutions.
Our collected client list includes Yale New Haven Hospital, Humber River Hospital (Toronto), Lucile Packard Children's Hospital (one of the nation's Top 10, on the Stanford University campus), Sharp HealthCare (San Diego's largest nonprofit community hospital system) and some others, including smaller venues like Southcoast.
We have concerns about your approval process. If you're looking for something safe, predictable, been seen a dozen times elsewhere, something every committee will immediately like, then The Case Writers are not going to make you happy.
On the other hand, if you want someone to tell your story in a powerful and original way, hoping to make goal ASAP: please call. We look forward to going crazy with you.
