Park City, UT.
It was a fundraising conference for Planned Parenthood affiliates across the U.S. The big, first debate was scheduled. An open beer/wine bar was contracted. Remember?
Security was tight. No name badges beyond the conference meeting rooms. When you went into town, GO anonymously.
Planned Parenthood reasonably, pragmatically assumed there might be rogue shooters, based on recent attacks, scouting ideological "opponents," AKA innocent victims, willing to stab and END the life of someone "he, the bombshell" KNEW disagreed with his opinion, held in the name of some Almighty God or Greater Nation we explain and interpret and market.
Allelujah. I pray a lot myself.

It's mid-November.
The Republican presidential "debates" are almost here.
Unless you're alpaca by species, any walk into Park City from a so-identified "nearby" resort will be brutal. The kind of cold wind that strips muscle from arms, leaving bare white bones.
Park City exists for skiing, no other special reason: winter sports, gravity, steep slopes, deep snow, money. Philosophy sometimes follows.
The Sundance movie festival, where some of the biggest story-telling talents on earth first come to light, founded by Robert Redford, headquarters at Park City. My pretty-close-to-some-kind-of-genius nephew, Daniel Joyaux, works for Sundance annually. (all my neices and nehphews are geniuses until proven innocsent)
