Friday's hike of 16,000 steps

One leg down, but still, what glory in the sun! With Fab and Jean-Claude in their neck of the woods, on the cliffs near Toulon. Let's start with the moment everyone decided we'd gone far enough. Simone's having certain thoughts. There was an electric whine in the air, from millions of bees feasting on spring. There was a "gypsy caravan" B&B on the way. And our view en route. Fab and Jean-Claude have given us much of what we know in France. We've explored with them twice a year for 15 years at least. Hiked so many trails (gotten lost together, too!). Tasted so many wines. Savored so many meals. Learned, argued, loved. Thank you!!!
