What, maybe 45 minutes away? In Montpeyroux, a good wine town near Aniane, an even better wine town where I loaded up at their Cave. Our hike walked a short way along the pilgrims' route to Compostella. See the sign Simone's sitting on to discover the route's full (extraordinary) distance. The scallop shell is the pilgrim's route icon.
