'I agree there are terrific books out there to help with our organizations, but to ensure that we are using "best practices" two of the best are Strategic Fund Development by Simone Joyaux and Keep Your Donors by Simone Joyaux & Tom Ahern. These are bibles for me.'

Simone is the Old Testament. I am the New Testament.

Try as I might....

....I just can't imagine Romney winning over an incumbent who saved the economy from a 1929-style implosion. Unless we really want to be zombies and embrace the horror, why would we interrupt 4 years of steady economic restoration? Every economist says this is going take 10 years to resolve. I don't think this country wants to keep jabbing the reset button every four years, hoping for all cherries. Or maybe we do. We love the slots.
