... to govern the United States than the current Congress. The people who wrote and illustrated Rio or Toy Story 3 or The Lorax. They're smarter. They're better at telling stories. They can get big, complex things done. And eveything works out well in the end. That's the important part. Congress is supposed to telling the story of a successful nation for all. But they've lost the narrative thread I think.
It's about survival. Because, as Darwin observed, if no one dies due to his or her failings, the species cannot adapt and evolve. Holding onto incapable staff is anti-evolutionary. Give everyone a reasonable metric. Those who don't perform must go. I'm a bleeding heart liberal. But I believe in evolution, for the good of the organization.
