A couple of times a year I get my "biggish" city fix, rising before dawn to grab a commuter train up to Boston, to teach a dozen or so nonprofit staff at a place called TDC. It's the laboratory where I develop new ideas. I love the rumbling gut of the train, the first coffee trance of the day, and head-scratching railroad signage.
