Not sure I'd recommend trying this at home. I like "bread-and-butter" pickles enough to drink the juice eagerly (swigging pickle juice is an old coach's trick for keeping athletes healthy; a grassroots equivalent of Gatorade). But, with all due respect to a palate gone crazy: bread-and-butter pickles in Texas vodka (Tito's; brand of choice) isn't exactly harmonious. More like a sarcastic argument between friends. Tastes like flint sparks. There's a lot riding on your choice of toothpick.
