We love friends and cardboard

On August 2, 2008, one day before my birthday, we invited friends (here: Bob, Mary, Lisa, Greggie, Susan, and Joel), lovely clients, and a special political guest (she could only send one dimension; the other dimensions had conflicting commitments) to our home for (sigh) bacon-wrapped scallops, duck breasts (sorry delicious billed little ones), and spicy cucumber soup; catered by Derek Wagner, chef/owner Nick's on Broadway in Providence, RI. Plus lousy fireworks. My name-tag goal: to have guests say my first name with a Boston accent (Jim insists you spell that "Tahm").
